Job Preparation - This Galveston project included extensive backyard landscaping with retainer walls, pool-scaping, and front yard landscaping to compliment the design concept This photo shows leveling and dirt filling behind the pool and adjacent waterfall feature. Work zones have been marked.

Job Progression - fill dirt is being worked in the area where an elevated planter bed and retaining wall will be installed.

Job Progression - The retaining wall directly behind the waterfall feature is done in natural stone built up approximately 2 feet. The remaining retaining wall around the pool is done in colored concrete blocks with natural face on the outside surface.

Job Progression - The retaining wall is near completion. Plants that will be installed in the planter beds are being brought in for arranging. Notice the plant beds along the fence are now underway and have their first layer of mulch.

Job Completion - The retaining wall is now completed with all plants in place. The natural stone section of retaining wall behind the waterfall has been mortared. Plant beds have been finished off with mulch. Various palm varieties have been installed throughout the plant beds.

Job Completion - The front yard received a treatment of plant beds surrounding the front and sides of the house. A 1-foot retaining wall has been built using the same style of colored concrete stone incorporated around the pool area. Shrubs and greenery fill the plant beds. Two offset trees have been planted near the center of the yard.
